AIDS AWARENESS & PREVENTION
PROGRAM This program will educate our children
about the disease of HIV, and AIDs, how it is contracted and the
prevention of being infected with it. see HIV / AIDS Awareness |

COMPUTER
CLASSES: The focus of this
program is learning computer Skills (Programs applications,
Resumes, and Word Processing). Also it will provide
training in programming and the upgrading of computer
systems. Single parents that are trying to improve their job
skills, of find better employment will have the opportunity for
training. |

COUNSELING This program will provide a variety of
services that include but are not limited to: Individual counseling services Marriage counseling services & Family counseling services These services are offered for
children, teenagers, and young adults, including their
parents. Whether it's how do I become a better parent, or how do I
deal with peer pressure, These services offer a wide range of
spiritual, emotional, and physical solutions to lifes'
sometime difficult problems. |

EMPLOYMENT The employment program will not only assist
those that have had training find employment, but will also help
those still in school find work, and assist them in resume
writing and filling out applications. All children under
the age of 18 must have their parents consent to find
employment. Rainbow Recreation Center Inc. adheres to
all local, Federal and State laws pertaining the employment of

LIFE SKILLS
PROGRAM This program will
be set up to help individuals learn how to budget their money, (
bank accounts, purchase a home or vehicle, understand their credit
reports) etc. This will help them learn how to handle issues
that are not taught in the traditional academic
settings. |

TRADE SCHOOL Basic Carpentry and construction skills
will be taught in a classroom setting and then will be followed
with hands-on-training. Items (such as utility sheds,
gazebos) will be constructed. Also young adults can learn how
to tint windows by a certified instructor. |
VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
FOR COLLEGE & HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS Program for
students that involves volunteering their services to the elderly
and young children. Such as assisting with shopping,
cleaning, taking them to a movie, etc. Spending quality time
with our young and elderly people. We want them to know
that they are loved and cared for also. This outlet will
provide experience volunteering and as well as provide
additional information for their resume. |
