My goal at Rainbow Multiplex is to provide the highest quality education for our community. The education will include all aspects of a student's life (academic and physical). Realizing that children are our greatest human resource, as well as our future, The Multiplex will utilize every resource and effort to help children reach their highest potential and strive to maintain high moral values, as well as adults.

When I was growing up, There weren't any centers or places for children to go. There are so many children out there in this world that try to fit in the right cliques and wind up in the wrong place at the wrong time. Most of these children end up in one of three situations: dead, on drugs, or in juvenile detention centers. However, some children are fortunate and make it through, and I thank God I am one of them. I also have two children, ages 24 and 21. which has taught me tremendously. This is why I feel so strongly about obtaining a building for the Rainbow Multiplex Inc.

Hi. My name is Erik, and thank you for hitting us up. My vision for the Rainbow Multiplex is to help our children and young adults by bringing people of different ethnic, social and economic backgrounds together. Our building will be used to reach our city youth, and to help tear down the walls that exist between the races.

Building relationships with our youth is the key to addressing issues in their lives. Our plan is to reach them through developing relationships, one-on-one interaction, and participation in athletic programs. The Center will be utilized as an outlet and safe place for our children and programs that will provide growth, education, and a variety of learning experiences.

I can remember growing up as an only child. There were times where I wished I had a brother or sister or even a male figure to speak to. At times I felt lonely and isolated. However, I am fortunate that I made it through. I would love to share some of my experiences with a child that feels the same way I felt.

Hello everyone, my name is Herbert and I want to sincerely thank you for visitiing us.  I was born in Raleigh, MS and I  graduated from Prentiss High School.  I also attended Jackson State University where I majored in Physical Education.  Pesently I am helping rebuild houses for families of Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana.  

I grew up in a family of six children and at that time it wasn't easy.  we had plenty of chores to do.  We raised cows work on the farm.  There wasn't any after-school programs at that time, and my parents made sure that we didn't get bored.  They always found something for us to do at home to keep us out of trouble.

I feel that the Rainbow Multiplex will benefit all children no matter what type of background they come from.  We didn't grow up with the latest in name brand clothes, however we were content.  The reason for me saying this is that it's not what you wear it's who you are.  I know deep in my heart that as long as there is a loving and caring parent or adult in a childs life the chances of that child becoming productive are much greater.

 There are many talented children out there and most of them just need to know that people still care.
